Account Supervisor
The account supervisor acts as the account leader for 1-3 large, strategic B2B accounts, managing the daily coordination of agency activities and client contact for multiple clients. This person will be responsible for managing the activities of one or more account managers and will lead internal agency teams in the development and implementation of strategic integrated marketing plans and strategies for our clients. Ideal candidates will thrive on mastering the business models of multiple industries and be motivated by the potential of continued diversification.
Responsibilities
- Acts as account leader for 1-3 large strategic B2B accounts by building strong/lasting relationships with clients
- Responsible for profitability of multiple additional accounts managed through direct reports
- Understands the client's product, business culture, competition, and targets
- Understands the components of integrated marketing strategies and applies them in making decisions
- Recognizes client needs and generates innovative, creative ideas and solutions
- Initiates and leads internal teams in the development of strategic integrated marketing plans and strategies for assigned clients
- Identifies, researches and presents additional business opportunities within assigned clients to executive level contacts
- Negotiates with clients and agency staff concerning project details, schedules and deadlines
- Mentors and develops team resources, creating an inspiring and positive environment for clients and all internal team members
- Understands and is able to present nFusion’s philosophies and capabilities
- Able to direct and coordinate the activities of others; to motivate and inspire others; to assign and delegate work to others; to control and monitor the work of others
- Positively and professionally represents the agency at all industry functions
Requirements
- Requires BS in advertising, marketing or related field
- Requires at least 5 years of agency experience in a B2B environment
- Must have excellent strategic and analytical marketing skills
- Must be a recognized leader within an extended team, with proven ability to manage and mentor junior team members
- Must be a confident self-starter with a positive attitude, a team player, an innovative problem solver and be able to manage multiple projects at once
- Needs to be attentive to detail, resourceful, work well under pressure and have strong communication skills
- Requires outstanding client-facing and presentation skills
- Familiar with digital marketing principles
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required; MS Project and Visio experience a plus
