Bass Phillips
Vice President, Group Creative DirectorAbout Bass Phillips
As Vice President, Group Creative Director, Bass Phillips brings years of deep digital creative leadership to nFusion. With a degree in architecture (California Polytechnic), Phillips found the synthesis of bringing ideas to life through intrepid design, thoughtful communications and dynamic management so compelling he found himself drawn to the world of advertising. His steady rise includes experience as an art director, copywriter, creative director, brand strategist, partner in his own firm and VP-level group creative director.
A native Californian, Phillips comes to Austin from Chicago, where he most recently held the title VP, Group Creative Director for Arc Worldwide/Leo Burnett. There he served as creative, emerging media, and co-strategic lead on a host of unique Purina brands in addition to helping guide a number of the Kellogg brands to the digital marketplace.
His previous experience includes stints at advertising and strategic marketing giant Digitas and future-making technology firm Adobe. He’s managed and delivered successful campaigns for a wealth of top brands, including Purina, Kellogg, Dell Computer Corporation, Williams Sonoma and Amgen/Wyeth.
