In creating its winning campaign, Intuit considered America's abundance of would-be entrepreneurs full of desire, passion and ideas. The company also considered that many of these hopefuls don't know where to start or who to go to for help. Intuit used this insight to launch the "Just Start" campaign, with the objectives of building long-term relationships with new entrepreneurs and ultimately driving demand for QuickBooks Simple Start, a free version of QuickBooks accounting software. With messaging designed to inspire, empower and guide entrepreneurs to get started, Intuit gave SMBs the encouragement and resources they needed to succeed at every turn, beginning with a free download. Execution included a PR assault, a contest, a website, events, extensive influencer/social network programs and promotions. Congratulations to the Intuit team!
