Knowing SMBs prefer to see, touch, and hear products in action before deciding to buy — whether futuristic-looking IP phones or robust wireless routers — Cisco created the Network-on-Wheels (NOW) program. Still roving today, NOW vans are outfitted with various Cisco technologies, and applications from partners, to showcase how these solutions are actually used in a small business. Cisco's resellers reserve the vans to visit customer sites and provide an over-the-top experience with technology that a small business can relate to. Cisco supports the NOW program with partner communications and updates, e-mail newsletters, e-mails with embedded videos, a NOW program portal and a blog from the NOW driver platoon.
