nFusion Creative Honored with W3 “Best in Show” Award

AUSTIN, TEXAS October 18, 2007nFusion Group, LLC, a digital-centric marketing agency, today announced its selection as “Best in Show” in the movie and film category by the International Academy of Visual Arts (IAVA). The IAVA’s W³ Award was presented to nFusion for the advergame Adopt-A-Sloth, created to promote 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment’s DVD release of Ice Age 2: The Meltdown in 2006.

“We appreciated the opportunity to work with 20th Century Fox to develop an innovative way to engage its customers, and our team is thrilled to have the work recognized by IAVA,” said nFusion CEO John Ellett. “Adapting the characters of Ice Age II to a series of Web-based advergames was a fun project and, more importantly, playing the game has been fun for movie fans.”

Receiving more than 2,700 entries, The W³ Awards honor creative excellence on the web and recognize the creative and marketing professionals behind award-winning sites, videos and marketing programs. Best in Show selections represent the highest mark of distinction and are selected by the Academy based on scoring. The judges award Best in Show honors to only the top 1% of all work entered.

“We were incredibly impressed by the quality and creativity of this year’s entries. W3 winners continue to raise the bar in Web development and design, push the limits of Web advertising creative and pioneer the use of Web video,” said Linda Day, the director of the IAVA.
