Best Brand Launch Campaign Bestowed at Wireless Communication Association WCA 2003
nFusion Group, LLC client, Clearwire Technologies, has been named by the Wireless Communication Association as a first recipient of “The Wireless Creative Achievement Awards” for 2003. At the WCA 2003 event, held in Washington, D.C., Clearwire Technologies was honored with the “Best Brand Launch Campaign” Wireless Creative Award for its success in launching a new service using a new wireless broadband technology in a new market (Jacksonville, Florida).
“Receiving this vote of confidence from the WCA — as one of the only three companies recognized worldwide — is a significant accomplishment and validates the marketing strategy in place for Clearwire to ensure its highly integrated sales and marketing programs deliver solid business results,” said John Ellett, nFusion CEO.
To develop and execute the overall campaign, nFusion worked with Clearwire’s senior director of marketing, Ray White, and senior vice president for sales and marketing, Jeff Mucci. Key facets of the strategy consisted of an “awareness-building,” integrated campaign with radio, in-market public relations, event marketing and direct mail combined with direct-response 800 numbers, and a pre-qualification and order entry website. The objectives of the campaign were to build awareness and drive responses and sales of the service.
